Griffen walked us through the science of laetrile and then he went into the politics of laetrile. He touched on the fact that Germany's I.G. Farbin, a large and powerful drug and chemical cartel, had partnered with the Rockefellers in the U.S.A. back in 1928. Through a series of substantial charitable donations to the medical schools, they soon gained control of medical education in America. Medical education then became skewed toward the exclusive use of pharmaceuticals. Education dealing with nutrition and non-toxic natural remedies was non-existent. Indeed doctors providing herbs and nutritional information to their patients were persecuted and often jailed. Griffen's friend Dr. John Richardson felt doctors' wives knew more about the benefits of nutrition, than their husbands did.

I was so impressed with Griffen's presentation, I ordered his book, World Without Cancer, and also the book his wife Patricia co-authored with Dr. Richardson, Laetrile Case Histories.

Griffen's book blew me away. While he touched briefly on the German connection in the video, the actual details come to light in his book. Griffen describes how it was learned during the Nuremburg trials that the business leaders of I.G. Farbin had controlled the Nazi state. Oswald Pohl, an SS Lieutenant General sentenced to hang, explained how Farben operated concentration camps such as Auschwitz and Buchenwald.

Griffen shows a photo of the building in Frankfurt that housed the headquarters of I.G. Farbin. He tells us during the massive bombing of Frankfurt, American bombardiers were instructed to spare the Farbin building. As a result, it survived without a scratch.

There are several photos in the book: Hitler, whose rise to power would have been impossible without the secret financial support of I.G. Farbin; Carl Krauch, in charge of espionage and propaganda for Farbin; John D. Rockefeller Sr. who partnered his own empire with I.G. Farbin in 1928 to create the largest and most powerful chemical and drug cartel the world has ever seen; and my all-time favourite, Otto Ambrose, production chief of Farben's poison gas facilities. If ever there was a photo that exuded a feeling of evil, this is it.

These are the folks who influenced medical education in America. These are the folks who lay the groundwork for deadly poisonous chemical treatments for cancer. These are the folks responsible for the deaths of 98 per cent of cancer patients who suffer terribly then die, after submitting to chemo and radiation. These are the folks ultimately responsible for trials of non-toxic natural substances - intentionally designed for failure. These are the folks responsible when all is said and done, for our governments' and insurance companies' refusal to cover the costs of alternative medical treatments. (The irony of course is even in Germany, alternative treatments are now covered.)

Intravenous high-dose vitamin C, laetrile, shark cartilage, bacteriophages, you name it - anything that cannot be patented is doomed to failure, declared illegal, ignored by a press not wanting to annoy its powerful pharmaceutical advertisers, and ignored by doctors who don't seem to know any better - or if they do, are too afraid of losing their license if they step out of line.

As I write this, the tears run down my face.
