PEGGY STEELE is located in Ottawa, Ontario. Her passion is providing safe, secure financial solutions to clients. Long-term care plans, IncomePlus and life insurance are at the top of her list. She has been in the business long enough to experience the gratitude of clients when their urgent needs are met. Widows receiving enough money to keep their family together, Alzheimer's patients having the means to be cared for in the facility of their family's choice, retirees secure in the knowledge their investment will provide an income for life. And now, Steele has cracked the books once again to become a licensed mortgage agent.

Peggy Steele:
  • Joined Standard Life in 1994 where she obtained her initial training in financial services.
  • Became an independent financial broker in 1995 and an associate of Mid Park Financial Corp. located in Kingston, Ontario.
  • As an independent broker, Steele has access to major companies like: Manulife Financial, RBC Insurance, Standard Life, Equitable Life, Great West Life, BMO Insurance, Blue Cross, Desjardins Financial Security, and Assumption Life.
  • Provided financial services to clients in eastern and central Ontario.
  • Translates complex financial concepts into plain language that is readily understood by anyone.

Peggy Steele's other passion is communicating what she knows through writing and design. In her other incarnation, she was an award-winning designer and publisher. She:
  • Designed and illustrated several award-winning posters for the Canadian federal government which were distributed world-wide.
  • Produced e-mail campaigns, magazines, newsletters, fact sheets, publications, posters, advertisements and AV for the Canadian federal government, non-profit organizations and the private sector.
  • Published Country Roads Magazine - a tourism promotion of eastern Ontario. The magazine was distributed as an insert to the Ottawa Citizen for five years.
  • Wrote stories on travel, financial planning, health-related issues and business profiles which were published in numerous newspapers and magazines (Canadian Metalworking Magazine, Coatings Magazine, Hotelier Magazine, Globe and Mail, Toronto Star and Ottawa weeklies).
  • Provided research and writing services to American biotech company Phage Therapeutics.
  • Created numerous newsletters for non-profit organizations and financial services clients.

Webmaster Matthew Delamere has been in the high-tech field for over 15 years. He has performed all functions of a programmer/analyst - developing and supporting a custom-built web-based information management system; created and maintained an IT infrastructure for several small to medium-sized businesses; designed and implemented comprehensive Year 2000 testing for a federal government department.

Delamere is originally from Nova Scotia. He graduated high school with distinction as a member of the provincial honour roll. After attending the University of Waterloo where he achieved a Bachelor of Mathematics degree, he moved to Ottawa, fell in love with its people and geography and has been there ever since. Matthew enjoys jamming with his friends and watching the Sens beat the Leafs.
